SASCO carries passengers by ferries servicing Vanino-Kholmsk line. The transportation is performed by "Sakhalin-7", "Sakhalin-8" and "Sakhalin-9" ferries.

In average, SASCO carries more than 60,000 passengers annually. It makes SASCO, together with the airlines, the major passengers carrier between Sakhalin and Mainland.

Duration of each voyage does not exceed 14 hours. Passengers can take up upper deck with various cabins (de luxe, double-sleeping and four-berth) or passenger deck with various cabins, too (double-sleeping, four-berth and eight-berth). During summer season (from May, 15, till October, 15) upper deck seats for passengers are available as well.

Throughout the voyage passengers can consume services of cafe, video hall and showers (de luxe cabins are equipped by personal showers) are at full disposal of passengers.

On shore, Kholmsk sea terminal and Vanino railroad terminal are at passengers' disposal. The sea terminal is located within 100 yards off Kholmsk ferry and is linked to it by a viaduct. Special bus runs between Vanino railroad terminal and ferry berth.

Discounts:

Free of charge are transported children under two years not occupying a separate berth. A 50 per cent discount for ticket is granted to children from 2 to 12 (no discounts for brokerage fees and breakfast costs).
