SASCO is enlarging through services

October 16, 2012 container train has left Butirskaya station of Moscow railway junction destined for Vladivostok. It is the first container train from Moscow to Vladivostok Marine Container Terminal carried out by SASCO.  The train loaded with 25 containers bound for Sakhalin, Kamchatka and Magadan are to be delivered to the ports of destination by SASCO liner vessels. Transit time from Moscow to the port of Korsakov is 20-25 days, to the port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Magadan - 25-30 days.

Thus, Sakhalin Shipping Company is enlarging through container services from Moscow to Sakhalin, Kamchatka and Magadan via two Far Eastern ports: Vladivostok and Nakhodka. At present SASCO provides its clients with services in the shipping of containers by freightliners from Moscow to Russian Far East 3 times a week.

SASCO China Line

SASCO China Line vessels have carried more than 2000 TEU from China to Russia in September 2012.

SASCO Shanghai - Ningbo- Vostochniy - Vladivostok container line has been successfully operated for 2 years. Two vessels (deadweight 11400 tons, max. container capacity 834 TEU) are operating on the line. Weekly sailing from Shanghai and Ningbo and discharge at Vladivostok and Vostochny have been providing regular schedule.   

Now SASCO can offer the full range of services of container transporting by railway to Moscow and other big cities in Russia, as well as loaded containers marine transportation from China. Service provides the full set of supporting documents, container loading procedures, transportation to place of destination, notified by the client, daily container identification reporting system.

SASCO China Line development is one of the important cargo line of Sakhalin Shipping Company's activity. China liner service expansion is planning as the resort of satisfaction of increasing demands from Russian and Chinese forwarding and trade companies.

M.V. ANNEMIEKE has arrived in Vladivostok with LIEBHERR gantry crane

M.V. «ANNEMIEKE» has arrived in Vladivostok with LIEBHERR gantry crane loaded onboard September, 21. The dismantled crane has been delivered to Russia from Rostock port (Germany). LIEBHERR specialists are making installation and adjustment of the crane and then the above crane will be rented by Vladivostok Sea Container Terminal (VSCT).

SASCO has started the financing of New Model LPS 420 LIEBHERR gantry crane construction within long-term lease agreement between Sakhalin Shipping Company and Vladivostok Sea Container Terminal (VSCT) last year.

Crane (max. safe working load 124 tons) is constructed for containers, general cargo, bulk and heavy cargo lift on/off.  The above project is value-driven for both partners - SASCO and port.  The installation of new crane will allow to reduce the time of SASCO liner vessels handling and assure the further growth of VSCT containers volume and create the necessary condition for new SASCO container lines development.

High-speed train

High-speed train with containers left Tuchkovo station near Moscow for Nakhodka in September 13. It was 19th train after service started. The 1st departed in April within mutual service agreement between OAO "Sakhalin Shipping Company" and OOO "DVTG-Container". The train consists of 39 containers are to be delivered to Sakhalin, Kamchatka and Magadan.

More than 700 TEU have been shipped within transit line operation. The departure from Tuchkovo st. executes twice a week.  

Besides, SASCO offers the cargo delivery from Butyrskaya station, Moscow to any destination via Vladivostok Marine Fish Port.

SASCO is in Top-100 Global Container Operators

Sakhalin Shipping Company as the container operator has joint the Alphaliner Top-100 league. The above top list based upon the owned and chartered liner fleet capacity. SASCO has become the second Russian company, which was honored to enter the above list. SASCO is filling 96th line in the Top-100 list.  SASCO Transport fleet consists of 16 multipurpose vessels with deadweight  102314 and container capacity 5 500 TEU.

New SASCO liner service Pusan - Nakhodka

m/v Paromay has shipped from Pusan port on March, 17 as a new SASCO liner vessel Pusan - Nakhodka. Ro-Lo type vessel with deadweight 4617 t and container capacity - 220 TEU will be initially operated on the above line.  Pusan port is the biggest international traffic terminal for the most of countries of South - East Asia. Every week SASCO vessel will be departured from Korea port for containers and general cargoes transportations from Asia to Russia.

In addition to Moscow-Nakhodka high-speed train service initiation as from May, our clients will have an ability to deliver cargo from Asia, including Korea to the Capital faster than before. Therefore, Sakhalin Shipping Company is developing one of the promising directions of its activity - the intermodal transportations of miscellaneous cargoes, granting its clients the best "door-to-door" delivery service.

«Sakhalin Shipping Company» together with «DVTG-Container» have granted new service of weekly delivery of multi-tonnage containers by high-speed trains on the following positions:

  • Moscow (Tuchkovo st.) - Nakhodka (Marine Fishing Port) - Korsakov (Commercial Sea Port)
  • Moscow (Tuchkovo st.) - Nakhodka (Marine Fishing Port) - Petropavlovsk - Kamchatskiy (Commercial Sea Port)
